New Designs

Designing airports has been a key focus of Molen Design's practice. We work collaboratively with owners, engineers, and contractors to propose and develop design alternatives which are unique for each project.

 

Our integrated, evolutionary approach allows us to create optimal designs that consider not only programmatic needs of the project, but also the economic, functional, aesthetic, and iconic desires.

 

Much of our work has come from design competitions where we have been successful at developing iconic award-winning designs such as Shanghai Pudong Terminal 2 (pictured here).
